Tanzania team trains farmers on cassava post harvest technologies and products development

  The SARD-SC Tanzania  team  will conduct  a  training on Cassava  Post Harvest  Handling  Technologies  and  Products Development  for  small holder  farmers  from the  23rd  to 26th  February 2015 at  the Kimzimbani   Research Institute, Zanzibar, Tanzania.  The   training is designed    to empower processors and small holder  farmers on the knowledge  of theories  of cassava post harvest  technologies  and  proper harvesting, grading and packaging  procedures, among  others. Tanzania hosts cassava annual review and work planning meeting

  The cassava  value chain Annual Review  and  work planning meeting  of the SARD-SC project will take place in Bagamoyo, Tanzania, from October 20-24, 2014. Tanzania team launches Cassava Value Chain Innovation Platform

  The SARD-SC Tanzania team will launch an Innovation Platform (IP) for cassava value chain in Kigoma, Tanzania.  The event will take place at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Conference Room on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Kigoma Municipal. Participants expected are all the  stakeholders of the Cassava Value Chain and government officials including the Regional Commissioner of Kigoma, Honourable Lt CoL. Issa Machibya  and other important  personalities. The SARD-SC project Coordinator, Dr Chrys  Akem  will attend  the launching  ceremony.

Training of Trainers workshop on cassava value chain Innovation Platform

The SARD-SC   cassava value chain team in Tanzania will conduct a Training of Trainers/actors workshop for establishing Innovation Platform for  the cassava value chain in the  country.
