SARD-SC project Mid Term Review begins in May

The Support  for Agricultural Research  and Development  of Strategic Crops,(SARD-SC Project) funded by  AFDB, will begin its Mid Term Review programme from May 4 -16, 2015.  Among the activities slated for  the review, is a  StakeholdersConsultation Workshop, which will hold in IITA Ibadan, from May 13 and 14, 2015.

Two female scientists win the Young Rice Scientists Award for research on consumer preferences

Two female scientists, Gaudiose Mujawamariya and Esther Leah Achandi from AfricaRice Tanzania, won the Young Rice Scientists Award at the recently concluded 4th International Rice Congress 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand.
